Hotel Anand Bhawan - RTDC Hotel in Udaipur, was built by Maharana of Mewar approximately nine decades ago as a Guest house for lodging facility to Senior British and Indian officials.
Then it became official residence of Prime Minister of Mewar. After independence, It was converted into a hotel run by state government.
It is located on the top of hillock and provides a splendid view of city and Fateh Sagar and Swaroop Sagar lakes. Now, it has 21 furnished air conditioned rooms to accommodate the local and foreign tourists.
